As Director of Client Success, Monica Strickland’s role at Triserv is to oversee the onboarding of new clients and ensure that the process is smooth as they transition from sales to operations. Her ongoing goal is to ensure Triserv clients all have the right tools, direct contacts, and escalation points to handle their orders from start to finish as efficiently as possible. Process improvement is also always a focus, to be sure we continue to provide excellent service and communication throughout the relationship.
Monica has been in real estate-related positions for over 20 years, starting as a trainee appraiser in Indiana for 5 years. She was recruited by a national AMC in 2009, right after the mortgage industry collapse, and joined Triserv in 2018. She’s also a licensed real estate agent in Florida.
When asked what the best part of her job is, Monica says, “I love helping clients reach their closings to help benefit their borrowers with their real estate transactions. Being even just a small part of someone owning their dream home or achieving large financial goals is very fulfilling! I also enjoy getting closer to the individuals on my team and hopefully making their work day easier and more enjoyable.”
What’s the hardest part of Monica’s job? “It’s always hard to give bad news when the appraisal timeline doesn’t go the way it should. It’s even harder when I personally don’t have control of the ‘why’ behind the delays or issues. My main goal is to help the client stay updated throughout the process and to hopefully save the day when it comes down to crunch time.”
Monica and her husband live in Pinellas County, Florida, about 15 minutes from Gulf of Mexico beaches. She states, “My husband is my rock and my favorite adventure partner! No matter what we’re doing, we always have a fun time doing it. We have an equally silly cat named Chesney and a 14-year-old Yorkiepoo named Wrigley. Most of our family lives out of state, so we love to visit them whenever possible.
When she’s not at work or traveling, Monica and her husband like to go boating and attend live sporting events, especially the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Earlier in life, she was a singer with three different bands over the course of a decade.
